Java/J2EE Development opportunity in Boston - Financial Services

Our client is a leading Financial Institution in Boston.

They are a small shop with an excellent opportunity to learn the Investment Management industry.

Partner with business users to manage project plan, coordinate status reporting, develop and integrate system solutions, and manage vendor relationship

Hands-on technical design, and delivery of cash management and corporate action solutions

Planning and managing implementation and deployment of technical solutions

Assisting with quality assurance testing

Support existing trading and investment accounting software


Qualifications:

Specific expertise in mutli-tier J2EE, Weblogic/Websphere, or Microsoft .NET/C#, Oracle database technologies

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience in Java or C#

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on development experience in J2EE Application Server/EJB/Hibernate/Spring or Microsoft .NET

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on development experience in JSP/Servlet or ASP

Experience with Agile development Methodology

Minimum of 5 years of SQL experience

Exposure to shell scripting on UNIX platform

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Ability to engage business users in requirements analysis and deliver technical solutions
