JAVA/UI opportunity in Westford

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small fast-paced development team developing an industry leading product.


Strong UI development with either JSP/Struts or JSF/JBOSS

Senior/Principal Software Engineer

The SWE will maintain a rich and easy to use web-based graphical interface for the application. The application is a J2EE application that provides monitoring and control of Internet-enabled devices.

This role involves the development of a new web-based user interface, as well as maintenance of existing software, leveraging strong human factors and user interface development experience.

The successful candidate must have solid user-interface development experience using Java

1.5/1.6, and either JSP with Struts or JSF/HTML and Facelets in a J2EE application environment.


Required software development experience:

• Java 1.5, preferably Java 1.6

• Java Server Pages (JSP) with Struts or JavaServer Faces (JSF)

• HTML and CSS

• J2EE Application Server (JBOSS 4.2)


Additional hands-on experience using the following is desired:

• AJAX

• EJB 3

• JBOSS Seam

• Hibernate

• PostreSQL or other relational database

A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

Master of Science preferred.
