Web Project Manager opportunity in Boston

This is a unique opportunity in Boston with one of the most prestigious firms in their industry.

You will be responsible for the technical development and support of COMPANY’s websites, worldwide.

Manage the technical development, release, and maintenance of websites and services that support COMPANY’s online marketing strategy. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Key requirements:

BS degree, prefer MBA.
At least 6 years managing external websites and web development teams (of 2 or more people.
Knowledge of web development technologies such as:
- Operating systems: NT, Linux, Windows
- Internet protocols: HTTP, SMTP, DNS, FTP
- Languages: ASP, SQL, XML, JavaScript, CGI, JSP, .Net
- Document formats: XML, HTML PDF
- Multimedia software: PhotoShop, Flash
- Database: SQL Server,
- Web Servers: Microsoft IIS, Site Server
- Analytics: Google Analytics, WebTrends
- Content Management System

Experience in web project management
Experience in coding and hands-on web development
Experience developing technical web architecture (hosting, security, database configuration, CMS set up and management) for at least 20 sites around the world
Familiar with Web 2.0 features and functionality: content ranking, groups, personalization, RSS, podcasts, videos, etc.
