Privately held international software company has an exciting opportunity for a Release Engineer.
The Release Engineer will be responsible for working with the development organization to manage and enhance product releases and the associated build and test infrastructure.
Follow and refine the existing product release process
Maintain the product build and automated test environments
Maintain and enhance the product installation procedures.
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience as a release engineer
Two or more years of experience building with Microsoft technologies (.NET and/or COM, Windows Server and IIS)
Experience with C++ and/or C#-based software development and SQL programming
Knowledge of MSI based installation software such as InstallShield
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Strong interest and competency in troubleshooting software related configuration issues
Ability to multi-task and work through problems
Experience using VMWare virtual machine technology a plus
B.S., Computer Science or equivalent
