The Entertainment and Communities business drives our efforts in mobile entertainment and enables people to discover, create, explore and share media. Music, games, video, TV and personal media sharing all fall within the responsibility of the E&C team and this portfolio creates exciting new opportunities for people to connect to each other and the things that matter to them.
Key Responsibility Areas/Activities:
Service Development manager for Media R&D organization
Service platform development, integration with other services
Partners with Service delivery and Service Line to execute on strategy
Interfaces with global R&D organizations
Product & Feature - function definition
Test, Documentation, QA, QE
Program & Schedule Management - Driving SD milestones
Impact to SL roadmap and Progress
Compliance to definition of key standards
Additional responsibilities:
Participating in strategy development
Prioritization of all product / service development for own area
Qualifications
Individual Portfolio
Typically 8-12 years relevant experience. Recognised expert in their field (depth & breadth).
Extensive Internet service development management experience
Good leadership, people management and decision making skills
Broad prod development (prod definition / engineering / test / etc.) experience
Good understanding of Agile development method(s)
Domain space expertise in media and social networking
Understanding consumer behavior
Knowledge of a broad range of internet technologies and practices
Emerging market technology knowledge to drive innovations in mobile service
Success in building an agile software development team
