Stable software company has an immediate need for a Senior C++/MFC Software Engineer to join a veteran team of software developers.
Initially projects assigned will provide the opportunity to learn a large and complex code base. These projects will involve adding new features and enhancements to existing applications and conducting maintenance before phasing into new product development.
Qualified candidates must have:
a minimum of a four year Bachelors Degree in either Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or an equivalent technical subject.
a minimum of 5 years intensive C++ development relevant work experience in a commercial environment.
experience working in both multi-person team projects or on solo projects with minimal supervision.
eligibility to apply for a US Government security clearance.
Desired skills:
development experience in C++/MFC, COM, .NET, C#, JAVA, ODBC and any commercial database products.
previous experience working in imaging, graphics and/or GIS environments.
